Jan is a hands-on business owner who is involved in every aspect of her business, from buying- to the daily operations and sales. Formerly, Jan worked as a VP of sales for International Shipping Lines, and as a Regional Sales Manager.

Jamey Nelson joined Carolina Lanterns after a 15 year career in the surfacing business in the Lowcountry. He heads up our Builder Sales Division. Jamey is ALA Certified, has a BS from Lander University and an MBA from The Citadel. He lives on James Island with his wife and two girls. Brooke joined the Carolina Lanterns team as an ALA Certified Lighting Associate and Website Manager. Her passion for design lead her to a career as a Corporate Accessory Buyer for 9 years. Needing a change, she explored the lighting industry over 4 years ago and loved it! She holds a strong background in interior design, buying, knowledge of the furniture/home furnishings industry, and lighting.

Outside of the office she enjoys a spin class, working out, paddle boarding, exploring Charleston, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her French Bulldog.

Tricia joined the Carolina Lanterns team in 2010. She started her career working at the front desk and has moved through the ranks, first as a sales assistant, then a retail salesperson, and finally into builder sales. She is now an ALA Lighting Specialist. She is able to help with all aspects of home lighting. Using her vast knowledge of the product lines, she is able to do whole homes in any price range.

Tricia graduated from Clemson University in 2006 with a B.A. in Communications. She has lived in Mt Pleasant since graduating. Besides helping clients’ build their dream homes, her other big passion is Clemson Football.

Possessing a keen eye for detail and excellent customer assessment skills, she is able to transform clients’ electrical requirements into illuminating, functional design solutions.

With an Interior Design and Studio Arts background, Pippa has worked in Showroom Sales and Project Management, specializing in kitchen & bath design since arriving in Charleston in 1990. She has also been a freelance decorative painter and architectural illustrator. She enjoys practicing calligraphy, photography, reading and travel.

Beverly is an ALA Certified lighting specialist who just moved to Charleston in June of 2016 from Dallas, Texas. Beginning as a receptionist at a lighting showroom and working her way up to outside builder sales, she has total of 17 years experience in the lighting world. Her experience ranges in everything from small residential projects to multi-million dollar custom lighting projects! Beverly was on the Board of Directors for the NARI (National Association of Re-modelers) Dallas, TX. She also served as their chapter secretary for two years and was on the Board of Directors, Education Board, and Associates Council for the Homebuilders Association of Greater Dallas.
