All of our many models of lanterns are available as wall mounted, post
lanterns, and as hanging units, except for one lantern…the Columbia,
which is made for wall mounting only.

Also, all models of our lanterns are made for use with several different
sources of energy. The most popular are natural gas lanterns, but these
same gas light fixtures can be crafted as propane gas lights. When a gas light
fixture is not practical, all the same styles can be built to use electricity.
The look of electric lanterns can be enhanced dramatically with different
light bulbs…flicker, silicone dipped, clear and frosted are just
some of the styles available.

Gas light fixtures can be equipped to create different shapes of illuminating
flames for different applications. A small flickering flame for an interior
gas light fixture that serves as a house light, or a large maple leaf
or fleur-de-lis flame for an outdoor lighting fixture or post lantern.
Most of our clients state that it costs them between $8 and $10 per month
to run their natural gas lantern 24/7.

So that you can personalize your gas light fixture, we offer different
finishes and ornate scrolls to frame your creation. The most popular finish
is natural copper, which starts out shiny, like a new copper penny, and
ages to a beautiful dark patina. This is nature’s way of protecting
the copper and helping it to withstand all temperatures and weather conditions.

Copper lanterns do not need to be cleaned….they just get better with
time. The glass can be cleaned with a standard glass cleaner.
